How long does an MOT in Hamilton take?
An average MOT test takes between 45 minutes to one hour, but there are a couple of other things to take into consideration when having an MOT carried out.
First, if your vehicle fails the test and repairs need to be made this will take longer than the initial test. However we can provide a free quote on all repairs and you can spread the cost.
An MOT test centre is not allowed to let you drive away a car that has failed an MOT until the problems are fixed, unless your existing MOT certificate is still valid on your car, or you’re taking the car to have the faults fixed at another MOT garage.
